News! I'm excited!

The Art & System series, edited by Tim Hutchings (creator of Thousand Year Old Vampire) and published by Central Michigan University Press, is getting ready to crowdfund its first batch of three TTRPGs. I'm excited about all three of them: Tim Kleinert's seminal The Mountain Witch, finally coming to print; Liam Liwanag Burke's Dog Eat Dog, a game about colonialism and assimilation that's been out of print for almost a decade (and of which I am a huge fan); and, debuting with this collection, the Princess with a Cursed Sword hardcover book!

Over the years since Princess with a Cursed Sword's release (2020, right on the cusp of the pandemic and of losing my ability to walk), I've given a lot of thought to what a Princess Sword book could be like. I wanted to make sure it wasn't just the games, which I painstakingly crafted to fit neatly on a single page each, stuffed into a new, more shelf-friendly format. I arrived at something I'm really excited about.

The Princess Sword hardcover will include:

• All four games currently available: Princess with a Cursed Sword, Tavern at the End of the World, The Empress and Her Seer, and Magpie by Moonlight.
• An all-new game, Thaumaturge, about unlocking the secrets of a strange, magical book.
• Revised and expanded game rules.
• The full Cursed SRD, a guide to making your own Princess Sword games.
• Contributions from five guest authors, including ███████, ███████, ██████, ███████ and ██████.
• Lots of new, beautiful illustrations by artist Evlyn Moreau.
• An all-new ███-██████ mode.
• And more??

Tantalizing revelations to follow this Summer, in anticipation of the Kickstarter launch in September. The free one-page version will remain free and available.
